Travel Teams

Tryout schedule

  • 3rd-4th Grade: Friday 9/20, 6:30-7:45PM @ Holy Cross
  • 5th Grade: Saturday 9/21, 5:00-6:15PM @ Holy Cross
  • 3rd-5th Makeup: Wednesday, 9/25, 5:00-5:30PM @ Holy Cross
*Please contact me if your daughter is interested, but cannot attend the scheduled tryout.  2024-2025 season will run from early-October to first week of March.  Exact dates will be sent immediately after tryouts.  Estimated Cost = $1,500 to be split into 2 payments

Travel Season Includes

  • 2 Practices per Week, All Teams
  • IFL Travel League Play, 4th-6th grades
  • IFL Year-End Tournament, 4th-6th Grades
  • 4-6 extra games via one day shootouts or exhibition "friendlies"
  • Optional Saturday Athleticism & Footwork Session @ Sachs Center
  • Optional Sunday PM Offensive Skills @ Highwood Recreation Center
  • Team Outings & Dinners

 

In addition to learning the game . . . We take great pride in making sure our girls learn how to create and build a fun TEAM environment!  

4th-7th Grades Teams
We anticipate having one team for each grade.  Some girls may be asked to play up a grade.  We will practice 2x a week (75-90 minute practices at Berto/Sachs/Holy Cross) and play in the DYTBL travel league.  There will be a year-end tournament via the travel league.
 
Preliminary Practice Schedule:
4th Grade - Mondays/Wednesdays & Fridays, between 5:00-7:00PM
5th Grade - Tuesdays, Thursdays, 6:00-8:00P
*Saturday mornings will be used as an additional practice day for the first half of the season.
**This is preliminary and subject to change.  Final practice schedule will be determined after tryouts.
 
IFL – Illinois Feeder League

All teams will be participate in the Illinois Feeder League.  The league is composed of local “feeder” teams (teams that will feed into regional high schools) where standings will be kept and a year-end tournament will be played.  We anticipate playing a 12-16 game regular season schedule via the league, concluding with the year-end tournament the last week of February or two weeks of March.

Sunday Workouts

Sunday nights, 6:30-8:30P the Highwood Rec is open for all players to join us for focused ball-handling, shooting and offensive breakdowns.
